Insignias and Patches for Collectors

Insignias and patches serve a common purpose and that is for identification. The use of different insignias and patches lets the other soldiers identify their own men or the other men from other forces. The military corps has their own insignia that is different from the ones used by the marines, navy, and air force. These identifiers also tell the ranks, positions, and special group affiliations of the officers and all the servicemen. Insignias are part of all the military tactical gears and are usually included as parts of their jackets and other outer wear.

The insignias and patches from different tactical or armed forces are now considered as collectors’ items. The unique and several choices of designs of military insignias, patches, and decals make them worth collecting. Almost every country from around the world has at least three groups of their armed forces that use different patches for identification. If you count the number of countries with complete state armed forces you will surely get thousands of different patches and insignia designs that they used for identification when donning their full battle tactical gear especially the camo gears where they use face masks or paints.
