We all know that having a wedding at the beach is the best way to say “I Do “. However, there is nothing better to have this fact confirmed by the rich and famous. Some of these weddings are intimate affairs involving only close friends and relatives while the others are full blown Hollywood style weddings with hundreds of guests flocking from all over the world to attend the beach wedding. It is really fascinating that those who have everything and all the money in the world chose to have a simple and beautiful beach wedding. That is the beauty of a beach wedding. It’s not what you are but how much you care for the little things in life that matters.
One reason why celebrities choose to have a beach wedding is to ensure that they can lose the paparazzi. Heidi Klum and Seal got married in an extremely private ceremony in Seal’s villa near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 40 guests were present for the vows, including Leni, as well as other family and friends.
Bahamas has quite a reputation when it comes to hosting beach wedding for our favorite stars. Deion Sanders – the NFL legend and New York model – Pilar Biggers had an exquisite ceremony on ‘Paradise Island’ which was attended by just 80 of the couple’s closest friends and family members. ‘Paradise Island’ also played host to reality television’s golden couple – Amber Brkich and Rob Mariano. Bahamas is not the only favored destination though. The other sought after destinations in the Caribbean are Barbados and Jamaica. Tiger Woods & Elin Nordegren married in the Barbados, in a ceremony held under a pagoda decorated with 10,100 crimson and black roses. The couple spent their Honeymoon aboard Tiger’s yacht, sailing and diving throughout the Caribbean. Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon exchanged their vows in a truly private affair in a villa on the island of Barbados. American theatre, film and television actor – Taye Diggs and Broadway actress Idina Menzel exchanged their vows in Jamaica. The ceremony was a beautiful blend of both their African-American and Jewish heritage.
When it comes to the rich and the famous love for a beach wedding, even their pets are given that privilege. Pamela Anderson’s two canine companions pledged their undying devotion on a beautiful beach. The former Baywatch babe arranged a wedding for her Golden Retriever, Star, and her Chihuahua, Luca, on the beach in Malibu, California.
