1. Define your objectives – Think about what is the purpose of the site. Are you there to sell your products and services, or highlight your business and get more clients for your services? Knowing the purpose will help you and your designer craft a successful site.
2. Overall Design & Mood – What do you want people to think of and FEEL when the visit your website? What do you consider your business image? What colors do you like and prefer? What kind of styles do you like?
3. Layout and Navigation – Look at other websites that are in the same business. Look at sites you already use and like to get a basic idea of the layout you would like your site to be.
